Why?

From Wiki:
Catharsis (Ancient Greek: Κάθαρσις) is a Greek word meaning "cleansing", "purging", "cleansing" or "clarification." It is derived from the infinitive verb of Ancient Greek: καθαίρειν transliterated as kathairein "to purify, purge," and adjective Ancient Greek: καθαρός katharos "pure or clean."

Last year I was diagnosed as Bi-Polar. I have been on medication since the summer. It was a long time coming but it explained many issues I have had in dealing with stress, weight, spending, etc. Then in January, my husband informed me that his company had a new policy- they would pay for part of your gym membership and for you to join a weight loss group if you were obese. I joined Weight Watchers the next day and here I am.

I am only 7 weeks in and have dropped over 25 lbs. I have started eating differently, exercising regularly, and changing mentally how I view life. I am hoping to lose over 100lbs in 2010, reduce my debt by half, and have a tummy tuck in 2011.
